Location of the 53rd District

      The two maps, below, depict the 53rd State Representative District of Illinois.  It is in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.  The District include parts of Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove, Horatio Gardens, Mount Prospect, Prospect Heights and Wheeling.

      There are, last time I checked, 99 precincts in the 53rd District.  92 of the precincts are in Wheeling Township in Cook County.  Seven precincts are in Vernon Township in Lake County.  The purple line in the upper map shows where the county line is located.

      I am a middle-class Green Party member who is not an attorney and who, for decades, struggled every week to make ends meet financially -- just like you.  I live near the center of the 53rd District, in the area of Cook County indicated by the orange box.  The current officeholder is a wealthy Republican attorney who lives in a well-to-do Lake County neighborhood in the remote corner of the district that is indicated by the black box.  If you think that the Illinois House of Representatives doesn't have enough wealthy attorneys, then you should vote for the incumbent.  If you think the General Assembly could use an ordinary working person to represent ordinary working people like you, vote for me.
