Projects

Rob Sherman Advocacy is in the business of conceiving, planning and implementing changes to the status quo that will make our world a better place in which to live.

Here are a list of projects that Rob Sherman Advocacy is currently pursuing and projects that have been concluded.  This section of the web site is under construction.

We Need Seat Belts Project is working to get seat belts on all forms of public transportation, especially school busses, but also inter-city busses (like Greyhound), transit busses (like the Chicago Transit Authority), railroad trains (like Amtrak), commuter trains, rapid transit trains (like elevated and subway trains) and police patrol ("paddy") wagons.  We Need Seatbelts is part of the Transportation Project.

National Motto Project is working to get our national motto changed from "In God We Trust," a motto which divides and polarizes the country along religious lines, to "United We Stand," a motto which we can all subscribe to.

First Amendment Project is working to maintain a wall of separation between state and church, protecting religious freedom, protecting free speech rights, and protecting the right of citizens to seek a redress of grievances from government without being subject to retaliation.

Broadband Project is working to get lower rates and better service for cable television and cable internet users.

Transportation Project is addressing a number of controversial transportation issues.  These include, but are not limited to, the following:  seat belts on all forms of public transportation, but especially school busses;   high speed rail links;  and getting clear tail light assemblies banned.

Sales Tax Project is working to ensure that the sales tax dollars that you pay goes to cover the cost of public infrastructure and services, not to the bottom line of some corporation's profits.

Sacred Places Project is working to make sure that our tax dollars don't go to pay for the repair and maintenance of their houses of worship.

Recycling Systems Project is working to get all communities to recycle, and do it in large, covered bins, rather than open, small bins.

Tail Light Project is working to ban the use of clear tail light assemblies on cars, as well as banning the manufacture and sale of same.

Patriotism Project takes on issues that others don't want to deal with or where others don't know how to get results.
