Standardize Clothing Sizes
About
Americans are growing bigger, for a variety of factors. Many clothing manufacturers think that they are making us feel better by labeling larger clothing sizes as supposedly being a smaller size. For example, the clothes that they label as a Size 10 is really is a Size 12, or they'll label as a Size 2-X clothes that are really 3-X or 4-X. As a result, you end up with a lot of new clothes that you can't wear because the size of the clothing has been falsely labeled. I want to change that. I want legislation adopted that would mandate exactly what dimensions clothes are to be when they are labeled as being a particular size. Clothing manufacturers would have the option of not listing a clothing size if they list, instead, the actual measurements of the key dimensions.
