Breaking News:
Zion case is on for
tomorrow morning in Judge Zagel's courtroom
A check of PACER (Public Access to Court Electronic Records) at 5 p.m. today reveals that no Order has been issued by Judge Zagel regarding the Zion city seal case which would make it unnecessary to go downtown tomorrow morning, so everybody is planning to attend the hearing at 10:15 a.m. tomorrow in Judge Zagel's courtroom.

Our Motion for Rule to Show Cause as to why the City of Zion should not be held in Contempt of Court will be heard at 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, October 4th, in Judge Zagel's courtroom, Room 2503 of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, located at 219 South Dearborn Street in downtown Chicago. The Jackson Street stop of the Blue Line CTA Rapid Transit train is located literally at the front door of the courthouse.
The only mystery at this point is whether Zion Commissioner Shantal Taylor will show up for the hearing, or if she'll blow it off the way that she blew off the Special Session of the City Council on June 10, 2011, when allegations of her misconduct regarding the Building Department were found to be substantiated by the rest of the City Council.
We'll find out, tomorrow.

Help support my work by purchasing a Rob Sherman News Mini-Crank Flashlight for $20. It never needs batteries. You just wind it up a few times and it works. Remember, you're not paying twenty bucks just for a flashlight. You are helping me to shine a light on and stop unconstitutional government policies and other catastrophically bad ideas by government and the private sector.
That's the value of what you are purchasing, and that's the difference between Rob Sherman Advocacy and most of the other groups. They talk about the problems of state/church separation. I do something about it and get the violations of your constitutional rights stopped. Besides, there aren't that many of the Rob Sherman News Mini-Crank Flashlights, so you might be able to make a lot of money selling this rare collector's item in a few years.
