Singing sensation Jessy Schram (picture here with her friends Jim Peterik and Larry Millas of the Ides of March) delighted us with her fabulous melodies and sparkling personality.   Also, comedian Michael Meehan (pictured here after the October 11th show with his friend, Jim Peterik of the Ides of March,) put his amusing spin on the many quirks of life.

October 18:    Former three-term Oregon State Representative Donna Zajonc (pronounced "Say-John") author of the book The Politics of Hope: Reviving the Dream of Democracy, discussed how dirty politics will affect the outcome of this year's political races.  Also, famed author James Boyne discussed his 55 Reasons to Vote for Bush.  The Chicago Sun-Times featured today's Rob Sherman Show in their Radio Highlights.

Jim Peterik of the Ides of March, best known for Vehicle and L.A., Goodbye , was live in the studio to preview his big 40th Anniversary concert at Glenbard East High School, which took place on Saturday, October 16th.  We also had fun talking about Jim's Fairy Tail Love friend, Jessy Schram.  Jim and the Ides appeared on Saturday, October 9th, at the Brat Stop (that's Brat as in Bratwurst) in Kenosha, Wisconsin.  More about the Ides concert schedule at Ides of March Tour ScheduleThe Chicago Sun-Times featured today's Rob Sherman Show in their Radio Highlights.

Monday, September 20:   Ed Yohnka, Communications Director of the ACLU of Illinois, will preview his presentation entitled "Civil Liberties in a World of Fear" that he will be making tomorrow night for the League of Women Voters of Buffalo Grove, Arlington Heights and Mount Prospect.  Ed's presentation tomorrow will be at 7 p.m. at the Arlington Heights Historical Museum, 110 West Fremont Street in Arlington Heights.  Larry Langford and Derek Hill both called to cancel their appearances due to last-minute work commitments, but both asked to reschedule.  The Chicago Sun-Times featured today's Rob Sherman Show in their Radio Highlights.

Monday, August 23:   Sgt. Tim Walz of the Minnesota National Guard explained how he was impeded from attending a public event held near his home by his Commander in Chief because Tim refused to affirm that he would vote for Duh-bya in November and because Tim refused to take a Republican Party loyal oath.

Monday, August 9:   Two guests:  Michelle Hoffman of Six Flags Great America spoke about the amazing popularity of Mr. Six, who dances, rides the bus and rides the roller coasters, but doesn't talk.  Michelle will also tell us about what's new for this year at Great America.  Then, constitutional law expert Police Commander Paul Ruffolo discussed how constitutional law will affect the conduct of the November election.  The Chicago Sun-Times featured today's Rob Sherman Show in their Radio Highlights.

August 2:   Two guests.  Elliot Mincberg, Vice President and Legal Director of People for the American Way, discussed Duh-bya's notorious radical right-wing extremist judicial nominees, whom Dick Cheney recently called mainstream (see the ninth paragraph from the bottom, which begins with the phrase, "The founders of this great country..."  The "mainstream" quote is in the last sentence of that paragraph).  Also, our entertainment concierge, Rich Gore, spoke theater and entertainment opportunities in the Chicagoland area.  Orion Samuelson, who is a good guy, was going to discuss his candidacy for the Republican nomination for United States Senator from Illinois, but he dropped out of the race, earlier in the day on Monday, due to health considerations on advice from his doctor.  The Chicago Sun-Times featured today's Rob Sherman Show in their Radio Highlights.

July 19:   Jim Jordan, spokesman for the popular liberal think tank America Coming Together, offered dozens of reasons for why there will be a Democratic Landslide in 2004.  Also, Kenneth Mayer of Billionaires for Bush offers the conservative perspective on the upcoming presidential race.

July 12:   Four guests appeared on today's show:   Jim Oberweis of Oberweis Dairy discussed the current state of the race for United States Senator from Illinois.  Also:  Jim Henderson of the American Center for Law and Justice talked about their assertion that the ACLU is trying to destroy American values by getting Christian crosses removed from city seals in California.  Also:  Ed Yohnka, the Communications Director of the Illinois Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union responded to those ACLJ attacks.  Also:  Rick DeLisi, Director of Corporate Communications for Independence Air, refuted Congressman William Lipinski's assertion that Independence Air is "destroying the air traffic system throughout America" because Independence Air is operating 12 round-trip discount flights per day between O'Hare and Dulles.  The Chicago Sun-Times featured today's Rob Sherman Show in their Radio Highlights.

April 1, 2004:    Former US Senate candidate Jim Oberweis will talk about why he was right regarding his campaign issue dealing with illegal immigration.  Jim is best known for his family's dairy business, Oberweis DairyAlso:  Bill Burton, Midwest Communications Director of the John Kerry campaign, will refute the ugly smears and false innuendoes which Duh-bya's campaign is making against Senator Kerry.  We'll also talk about why John Kerry will become the Greatest President of All Time.  Also, Thea Gregory Stowell rejoined the show to add her wit and charm to the conversation.  Thea was co-host of the Rob Sherman Show in 1998.  The Chicago Sun-Times featured today's Rob Sherman Show in their Radio Highlights.

Brett Bursey tried to express his opposition to the administration's Iraq policy at a campaign stop by Duh-bya in South Carolina.  The Secret Service told Brett that he would have to go a half-mile away from the event, where nobody would see him, in order to express such an opinion, while opinions supportive of administration policy could remain at the campaign stop site.  When Brett refused to go away, the Secret Service arrested him.  Brett was prosecuted, found guilty and fined $500.  Brett, a longtime political activist who knows all about the First Amendment, will tell his story on today's show.

Kandy Stroud, a communications specialist with the Democratic National Committee, will talk about the presidential candidates and the coming Democratic Landslide of 2004.

Howard Dean, the former Governor of Vermont, is running for President.  I interview Howard about why he would be the best match-up against Duh-bya in the fall election.
