Pioneer Press Newspapers is the major suburban division of the same company that publishes the highly respected Chicago Sun-Times. Hollinger International is the company that publishes both products.
The Niles victory came in typical Rob Sherman Advocacy style. I didn't issue a news release that criticized Niles officials for a state/church separation violation. I didn't issue a news release warning them of what could happen to them. Instead, I organized a plan, found a potential plaintiff, articulated the concern to key Niles officials, worked with the Niles officials to resolve the conflict and motivated the officials to act by focusing the heat from the spotlight of publicity on the problem and on them. The battle was carefully pursued through a competently designed strategy. By employing unchallengeable and irrefutable persuasion, I was able to win yet another victory and do so without resorting to litigation.
If you want your state/church separation organization to function like this, rather than merely holding feel-good rallies that consume huge sums of money but don't change a thing and feel-good conventions that consume huge sums of money but don't change a thing, issuing threats in news releases that are never backed up and publishing long-winded cybernews that talks about what others are accomplishing but never has any accomplishments of their own to talk about, then send your state/church separation dollars here, to the organization that really is the one that is leading the way for atheist civil rights and the separation of church and state: Rob Sherman Advocacy.
