Does ONUG Have No Religious Significance?

Wasn't the decision by the 9th Circuit Federal Court in the Pledge of Allegiance case wonderful?  Now we can all say the Pledge!

A key argument by the United States Attorney in San Francisco for keeping "One nation under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance was that the phrase has no religious significance.  Shortly after the Pledge ruling was announced, however, churches across the country started displaying ONUG from the marquees in front of their chapels.

Saint Mary's Church in Buffalo Grove is the largest church in town.  It is also one of many Chicago-area Roman Catholic churches that harbored a pedophile priest.  While it took St. Mary's years to retaliate against the pervert by terminating his employment there, it took them only a few hours to retaliate against the judge who issued the Pledge ruling by putting ONUG on their marquee:

New Hope Community Church, in Palatine, Illinois, is a relatively new church, so the marquee in front of their chapel is electronic.  ONUG went up on their marquee right away after the ruling:

Would these churches have put ONUG on their marquees if the phrase had no religious significance?  Could we get the United States Attorney for San Francisco prosecuted for perjury?
