Telling America's most notorious group of child molesting sexual predators, our Roman Catholic priests, to lay off (or stop laying) children will do nothing to stop them from seeking to get their rocks off some other way. Their hormones don't stop flowing just because some pope guy tells them that they have to be celibate, and their hormones don't stop flowing just because their easiest prey, children, is off limits, all of a sudden, after decades of screwing their helpless victims with impunity. Priests are men, and men have hormones that don't stop flowing simply as a result of a papal decree.
American nuns are among the nicest, kindest and most trusting people that you'll ever find anywhere in the world -- just the kind of person susceptible to being seduced and raped by those horny bastard priests. Nuns may feel that they have nowhere to turn when they get humped by the homily honchos. After all, they've taken a vow of poverty, so they may feel financially stuck when they get stuck by a priest who is looking for any relief he can find for his pent up lust.

Don't worry about breaking a promise that you think you made to a god that you would stay a nun forever. There is no god. God is make-believe. Don't be used by these perverts for their own gratification at your expense. Save yourself before one of them gets you pregnant or gives you a sexually transmitted disease that he picked up the last time Mr. Celibacy got laid.
If priests are God's messengers, God's personal ambassadors here on earth, the guys who God has hand-picked to represent Him, then I sure am glad that I'm an atheist. Aren't you?
Is that the best you can do, God? Are these guys the best that you can find? Nice job, God.
If there is a god, these guys demonstrate what poor judgment God has. Between Roman Catholic priests, suicide bomber Palestinians and Al Qaida, God sure has picked a bunch of maniacs to symbolize what His own image and likeness is like. If there is a god, God is nuts for picking these guys to be His spokesmen. I sure wouldn't want to spend all of eternity with someone who is as insane as God.
What this world really needs is more of its model citizens, the atheists. A lot more.
