Sherman Meets with Leading Elected Officials

When you don't see an update here for a week or two, you should expect that I've been up to something.  I'm going to be working on a special project during the next two weeks, but here's a quickie update:

On Tuesday, March 12th, I made a presentation to the Lake County Board regarding the sponsorship of Boy Scout Troop 19 by the 19th Judicial Circuit, the state court in Lake County, Illinois.  This matter is now under review by the County.  More on this next month.

On Saturday, March 16th, at Chicago's St. Patrick's Day Parade, I met with a number of elected officials and discussed Rob Sherman Advocacy issues.  Those officials included both United States Senators from Illinois, Dick Durbin (D) and Peter Fitzgerald (R);  Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White (D), Lieutenant Governor Corinne Wood (R), State Senator Dave Sullivan (R), Cook County Sheriff Michael Sheehan (D), Cook County State's Attorney Richard Devine (D), former candidate for Governor Paul Vallas (D) and the Democratic candidate for Attorney General, Lisa Madigan.  More on those conversations next month also.

In addition, I helped Florida resident Steven Miles retain his ATHEIST automobile license plates.  More on that, too, next month.

New sponsor:  The Non-believer Anti-discrimination Project.  Please take a look at their site.

Special message to Matt from the Eastern Time Zone:  I received your e-mail but attempts to reply were rejected as "Unknown User."  I also received your postal mail.  Thanks very much for that.  I am sending mail to you at your P. O. box today.

The next update will be around April 8th.  Please check back then.  Also, the April television show will not be available on the internet until about April 8th, but it should run on time on cable.

      Thank you, supporters.
