During the past two weeks, I've renovated the landscape around the house and have been working with Superior Decorating on repainting the outside of the house. It involved a lot of physical labor on my part, and has been a time consuming, tiring endeavor for an older, out of shape guy like me.
I've trimmed trees, bushes and shrubs, removing a number of them completely where they were planted by the previous owner too close to the house, thus causing rubbing and damage to the building. Then, it all had to be cut into pieces and bundled so that the landscape waste truck would haul it all away.
With respect to the painting, I've had to remove hardware from doors and remove all 54 windows and storm windows each day that we were painting, and then replace them each night to restore security. That, too, was labor intensive.
It's all done, now, so LN&C should be back to a more normal schedule this month.
Meanwhile, there are new guests for the radio show, a new May TV show starting this weekend, significant developments with respect to the issue of seat belts on school buses, and a new sponsor.
I will provide details on all that, starting tomorrow. See you then.
